Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide to Us
When you use ProSansaar, you may provide:
- Account Information: name, email address, mobile number, password.
- Profile Information (mainly for Professionals): profile photo, skills, experience, service descriptions, portfolio, social links, business name, GST details, and address.
- Project / Service Information: project requirements, descriptions, attachments, and any other details shared between Clients and Professionals via the Platform.
- Communication Data: messages, comments, support requests, and other communications with us or other Users through the Platform.
- Billing & Invoice Details: billing name, address, GST number (if applicable), and other details required for invoicing.
- KYC / Verification Data (if required): ID information, bank details, and related documents for identity and compliance checks.
Note: Your card/bank details are handled by our payment gateways (Razorpay, PayPal). We do not store full card or sensitive bank details on our servers (see Section 5).
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you access or use the Platform, we may automatically collect:
- IP address, device type, operating system, browser type and version.
- Log data such as pages visited, time and date of visits, referring URLs, clickstream data.
- Device identifiers and general location based on IP (city/country level).
- Usage data: features you use, searches you perform, interactions with other users.
We may use cookies and similar technologies to collect some of this information (see Section 7).
1.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from:
- Payment gateways (Razorpay, PayPal) – limited payment-related details such as transaction ID, payment status, method (e.g., card, UPI, wallet), and amounts.
- Analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics) – aggregated usage and traffic statistics.
- Social login providers (if enabled in future) – basic profile information like name and email.
- Verification/KYC providers – if we use third-party services to verify identity, address, or bank details.
How We Use Your Information

- Enable Clients and Professionals to find each other, communicate, and collaborate.
- Manage projects, milestones, and escrow payments.

- Facilitate payments from Clients to escrow, and from escrow to Professionals.
- Coordinate refunds, chargebacks, and withdrawals.
- Work with Razorpay and PayPal to process your transactions securely.

- Send important service-related messages (account notices, security alerts, project updates, payment confirmations, policy changes).
- Respond to your support requests and inquiries.

Improve and Protect the Platform
- Monitor and analyse usage to improve features, performance, and user experience.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms.
- Enforce our Terms & Conditions and policies.

We rely on different legal bases for processing, including performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests (such as improving services and preventing fraud), and your consent where required.
How We Share Your Information
We may share your information in the following ways:
3.1 With Other Users
To operate the Platform:
- Clients can view relevant Professional profile information (name, profile photo, location, skills, ratings, and portfolio).
- Professionals can view Client information necessary to understand project requirements and perform services.
- Messages and project details shared via the Platform are visible to the parties involved (and, where needed, to ProSansaar for dispute resolution and support).
3.2 With Service Providers
We may share your information with trusted third parties that help us operate our business, such as:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers (servers, storage, security).
- Email and communication service providers.
- Analytics and monitoring tools.
- KYC/verification services, if used.
- Payment gateways – Razorpay and PayPal – to process payments, refunds, and withdrawals.
These providers are expected to process your data securely and only for the purposes we specify.
3.3 With Payment Gateways (Razorpay & PayPal)
- For payments, refunds, and withdrawals, some of your data (such as name, email, mobile number, amount, currency, and references) are shared with Razorpay or PayPal.
- Your payment data is handled by them under their own terms and privacy policies, which you are also bound by when using their services through ProSansaar.
3.4 For Legal and Regulatory Reasons
We may disclose your information when we believe it is necessary to:
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, or legal processes.
- Respond to lawful requests from government authorities, agencies, or regulators.
- Protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or others.
- Investigate and prevent fraud, security issues, or misuse of our Platform.
3.5 Business Transfers
If ProSansaar or ROQTO INNOVATIONS is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations and continued protection of your privacy.
We do not sell your personal information for marketing purposes.
International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers (including hosting and payment providers) may be located outside India. This means your data may be processed in other countries with different data protection laws.
Where such transfers occur, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is protected in line with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws, including compliance with FEMA and RBI regulations for cross border transactions where relevant.
Payments: Razorpay and PayPal
We use Razorpay and PayPal as our main payment processors:
- When you make a payment on ProSansaar, you may be redirected to, or use integrated forms or APIs provided by, Razorpay or PayPal.
- Your card, UPI, wallet, or bank details are collected and processed directly by Razorpay or PayPal. We do not store full card numbers, CVV, or sensitive bank details on our servers.
- We receive a limited set of data from these gateways: transaction ID, payment status, amount, and related metadata.
Your payment-related information is governed by:
- Razorpay's terms and privacy policy.
- PayPal's terms and privacy policy.
We recommend you review their policies for more details on how they handle your data.
Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide the Platform and services to you.
- Maintain accurate business, accounting, and tax records.
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
- Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
When information is no longer required, we may delete or anonymise it, subject to any legal retention requirements.
